Design + WHY GOD WHY?

Not really a sketch, but anyway, here's a little design I did earlier today out of boredom.

...and now the WHY GOD WHY part.

Pop-art. seriously.. why, God, why?
Pop means popular, no? But I have yet to find a person who actually enjoys pop art. But then, even if I were to find someone, one person doesn't constitute popular.
What I'm trying to say is that the only people who are ever really going to appreciate pop/modern art are those who overcontemplate each artwork to the point of BAM, WORDS CANNOT BE FOUND TO DESCRIBE THE FAIL.

What I'm not saying is that pop-art should run away to a far off land, rather, it should stay so that we can assign completely random yet totally believable meanings to it.

This red square is a comment on the struggle that we have to deal with in the restricting society that we live in. The fact that it is slightly off center represents how we ourselves are off center. The white surrounding the square is the mind numbingly overpowering background of our lives.
TAKE THAT. I can do pop-art good.
